First-time Setup
1.
The first time you start the VR console, follow the Microsoft
prompts to set up your Windows environment and connect to
the internet.
If you need help, go to

On the desktop, double-click the Steam™ shortcut to create
a Steam account and profile.

In the Steam portal, download the SteamVR™ app.

Go back to the desktop and double-click the VIVEPORT app
shortcut to create a VIVE account and profile. If you need

Enter your security code, including dashes.
The 32-digit security code is on a sticker on the back of this Guide and on
the back of the VR console. If the code is missing, contact DCI Support.

Follow the instructions to set up your account and first profile. After your
first login, you can create profiles for trainees to track their progress.
Set Up the Controllers
1.
Insert the batteries into the controllers.
2.
On your VR console, launch the VIVE Console app.
3.
Click the right controller icon, and then click
new
.
4.
Pick up the right controller and press the VIVE
button to turn it on.
5.
To start pairing, press and hold the B (1) and the
VIVE (2) button at the same time, and then release.
6.
When the pairing is successful, the blinking light
turns solid.
7.
Repeat steps 4 to 6 for the left controller.
Account setup to be completed by the AV console owner or a
factory reset will be required.
