matter of expediency. This will account for slight variations in value and appearance.
VOLTAGE CHECK POINTS
All voltages are measured with the volume control at minimum and the dial tuned between stations (no signal) sin
many of the voltages will vary widely under different signal conditions. All voltages are measured between th
point indicated and the chassis, using a vacuum tube voltmeter.

Use a 100,000

resistor in series with the probe when measuring these indicated voltages.

This voltaj:e will indicate whether or not the local oscillator is functioning and should not vary by more than one volt over the
entire tunmg range when the oscillator is properly adjusted for the FM band. In measuring this voltage, the common lead of the
VTVM must go to the cathode (pin #3).
