If the lock being installed

requires an outside key

override, use a 1-1/4" hole saw

and drill the optional hole.

A 3/4" hole is

needed inside for

the trim unit. Use a

hole saw and drill

this hole to the

pocket on the inside

only.

On a wood door a

3/4" brad point bit

may also be used.

With all holes drilled, the

clamp assembly along with

the alignment plate can be

removed from the door.
