ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. CONNECT BACK TO SIDE PANELS

a. Insert 3/8 in. dowels (DD) into back panel (D).

Tip: It is recommended you use a drop of wood

glue (not included) in each dowel hole prior to

placing the dowel.

b. Attach right side panel (A) and left side panel (B)

to back panel (D) using the installed dowels (DD).

Note: Notches on post tops must face outward.

c. Secure right side panel (A) and left side panel (B) to

back panel (D) by inserting 3 in. screws (AA) into

predrilled holes.

2. CONNECT BENCH TO ARBOR

a. Lay the item carefully on its back.

b. Align the bench (C) with the bottom rail of right

side panel (A) and left side panel (B).

Tip: If a workbench is desired in place of a seat,

align bench instead with top rail of side panels.

c. Use clamps (not included), if needed, to hold

bench in place.

d. Fasten the end of bench (C) to right side panel (A)

with 2-1/2 in. screws (BB) in each of the three

predrilled holes.

e. Repeat step d for attaching bench (C) to left

side panel (B), and fasten the rear of bench (C)

to the back panel (D) with 2-1/2 in. screws (BB)

in each of the two pre-drilled holes.

f. Remove clamps and return item carefully to

upright position.
