Figure/Table Numbering Format

Figure/table numbering is of the following format:

" a . f . g "

where

a = binder document tab number

f = section number within the said document

g = ﬁ gure/table number within the said section

For example, "Figure 3.4.2" represents the second

ﬁ gure of section 3.4 of the document located under the

third tab.

NOTE: Figure/table numbering in the Appendices

reﬂ ects the appendix alphabetical level and the

ﬁ gure/table number within the corresponding

appendix. For example, "Figure F.1" represents

the ﬁ rst ﬁ gure of Appendix F.

Table of Contents and List of Figures/Tables

The table of contents for the entire G1000 Pilot' s Guide

binder is provided in the Front Matter and is followed by

both a global list of ﬁ gures and a global list of tables.

Index

A global index is provided as the last portion of the

G1000 Pilot' s Guide binder contents.

STORING THE BINDER

As opposed to the Cockpit Reference Guide and

Cockpit Reference Card, the G1000 Pilot' s Guide binder is

designed to be used as a reference and does not necessar-

ily need to be stored on board the aircraft.
