Before Using Your Printer for the First Time
1-1. Be sure to read the following notes before using the printer
Keep in mind the following points before using the application:
Precautions for proper use
To set up the printer or perform its maintenance, be sure to refer the Instruction Manual and use a Windows PC
to perform the necessary operations. These operations are unavailable for Mac PC because the [GT-3
Maintenance] cannot be installed onto it.
To update the firmware of printer, be sure to refer the Instruction Manual and use a Windows PC to perform the
updating operation. This operation is unavailable for Mac PC because the [GT-3 Firmware Update] cannot be
installed onto it.
For printing out an image data that contains the transparent information, please use the PDIP for PNG image.
When you create print data from other application except PDIP, be sure to refer the Instruction Manual and use
a Windows PC to perform the data creation operation. Note that Mac PC cannot perform [Transparent Layer
Settings].
