Clean the glass surface and the white document holding pad
with a soft dry cloth or a cloth slightly moistened with
F1 Cleaner.
Do not allow any liquid or moisture get inside the scanner

Leave the cover open for five minutes to allow it to dry.

Close the flatbed cover.
