Clearing CMOS settings will reset the BIOS settings on your computer as well as reset the Real-Time

Clock on your BIOS.

1. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

2. Release the power button and allow the system to boot.

To conduct a BIOS and System password reset, you must call the Dell Tech Support number in your region.

1. Key in your computer's service tag number into the locked BIOS/system setup screen.

2. Convey the code generated to the Dell Tech Support agent.
