Dimension E520
The Dimension E520 ships with Dell factory configured
internal optical drives and can support one or two 5.25-inch
drives. Customers can choose a wide range of popular
optical devices such as DVD-ROM*, CD-ROM, DVD-Combo
and DVD-RW with the latest optical technology including:
– 16X Max DVD+/-RW* with double layer write
capability* bundled with Sonic MyDVD authoring
software allows users to store their favorite original
video or archive to a DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R and
DVD-RW. This drive will allow up to 8.5GB of data or
video to be stored to one double layer DVD+R. The
16X DVD+/-RW* devices also write to CD-R and CD-
RW disks for custom audio CDs or data storage of up to
700MB.
The Dimension E520 offers a variety of Dell factory installed
hard drive configurations with fast technology, Serial ATA
drives. The Dimension E520 offers high levels of
expandability, with support for one or two drives, each with
up to 320GB* of total storage.
Optional 13-in-1 media card reader that supports Compact
Flash, (CF) I and II, Secure Digital (SD), Multimedia Card
(MMC), Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro, IBM
Microdrive, Smartmedia, xD
Optional floppy drive.
128MB,256MB and 512MB Dell USB 2.0 Hi-Speed memory
keys* offer the latest in storage technology and serve as an
excellent floppy alternative.
IEEE 1394 Adapter provides enhanced connectivity for
many video cameras, external HDDs, MP3 players and
more.
