Network Connection Requirements and Recommendations
Your Dell FS7600 system comes with a Dell service contract. A representative from Global Infrastructure
Delivery Services will contact you to install your system. If you have any questions regarding these
requirements, discuss them with your Dell service engineer or contact Dell Technical Support.
The Dell FS7600 has the following types of networks:

Comments
Allows access to the client network (workstations, PCs, shares).
The internal network connections allow communication between the two
controllers.
The SAN network connections allow communication between the NAS cluster
and the PS Series group (SAN).
The SAN and internal networks use two different IP address ranges, but they
exist on the same switch or VLAN or Broadcast domain.
Used by Dell Support personnel for remote KVM troubleshooting purposes.
