Refrigerator compartment
The insulating plate
Q)
divides the refrigerator compartment
into a chilling zone above insulating plate and a keep-fresh
zone (J) and ® underneath the plate.
The keep-fresh zone is for items which should be stored at
temperatures higher than those in the chilling zone, e. g. tro-
pical and subtropical fruits, potatoes, vegetables, wine.
The circulating air inside the refrigerator creates various tem-
perature
zones.
For this reason, food and drinks should be
stored in the refrigerator according to the following plan
.

The temperature in the keep-fresh zone is adjusted at a
slide control. One of four temperature ranges can be se-
lected at control
@)
on the insulating plate. Meaning of the
numbers:
"1" = low cooling, warmer keep-fresh temperature
"4"
=
high cooling, cooler keep-fresh temperature
Please notice that the keep-fresh temperature is also
dependent on the main temperature setting in the chilling
zone.
Always make sure that the insulating plate and door shelf@
are level; realign the door shelf if necessary. This is important
to ensure correct air circulatioin and temperature in the
keep-fresh
zone.
