Maintenance and storage
Be aware of the potentially harmful effects of liquids such as acids (e.g. from batteries, accumulators), oil, petrol and
other solvents. These liquids can cause damage to the surface of the SUP board. If the board comes into contact
with the above mentioned products, rinse with water.
1. Remove the leash and fin.
2. Rinse the board and its accessories with clean water.
3. Wipe the surface of the board using a cloth.
4. Drain the air from the board. Unscrew the valve plug and push in the valve, to lock the valve in the open position
turn it clockwise.
5. Fold the board from back to front to remove the remaining air from the board.
6. Store the board and its accessories in the bag supplied in a shaded place out of the reach of children.

If the board loses pressure, determine the source of the leak, e.g. by applying soapy water to the board to locate the
leak by the appearance of air bubbles.
Leakage around the valve:
1. Completely deflate the board.
2. Insert the fastening key into the outside of the valve. Turn the key in a clockwise direction until it is completely
tight.
Leakage in the centre of the valve - the valve body is most likely damaged, repairs must be carried out by the board
manufacturer.
Leakage as a result of a cracked/damaged board surface:
1. Completely deflate the board.
2. Wash and then wipe the repair area with a cloth.
3. Select a piece of laminate from the repair kit supplied with your board.
4. Cut the material in such a way. Cut the material in such a way that it covers the repair area with a large overlap
so that the edges can be rounded.
