NSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS
The meter is to be installed in accordance with the prEN ISO 4064-5:2012 standard.
2.1.1 C
LEANING THE PIPE
The AQUILA meter must be installed on a pipe that is clean on the inside and free of solid
impurities. If in doubt, clean out the piping by flushing it under high pressure, taking care to replace
the meter with a bypass sleeve. In case of doubt, install a filter on the pipe before the meter.

IPE ALIGNEMENT
The pipes must be perfectly aligned in order to minimise the mechanical stresses on the meter's
body. While fixing the meter on the inlet side, use a pierced nut that will allow the meter sealing.

NSTALLATION POSITION
AQUILA is sensitive to the position of installation.
It has to be installed in horizontal position, upper face of the register above.
Check the direction of the water flow, to ensure that it matches the directions of the arrows located
on the meter's body.

By-pass
However, when installed against a wall, it is possible
to tilt the counter, slightly or completely. In this case,
the metrology of the meter becomes class R = 40 .
