PC and Software
System Compatibility
1. The OLYMPUS specific IEEE 1394 device driver must be installed to operate DP21. When this driver is installed, other 1394
devices except OLYMPUS digital camera for microscope cannot be operated though connected. (Note that DP25 cannot
be used.)
2. The OLYMPUS specific IEEE 1394 device driver can be installed at the same time when installing cellSens / OLYMPUS
Stream.
3. To connect other 1394 devices, the OLYMPUS specific IEEE 1394 device driver must be uninstalled. (When the OLYMPUS
specific IEEE 1394 device driver is uninstalled, DP21 cannot be operated.)
4. When connecting the DP21 to the PC, connect the DP21's camera head directly to the IEEE 1394 connector of the PC.
Connection through a commercially available IEEE 1394 hub or conversion connector may lead to malfunction.
