General Assembly...

Locate the bush (c) for the Clip Retainer. Ensure it is aligned with the upper body

and press into place (See Fig 4). Introduce the Clip Retainer (e) through the Clip (d)

and assemble the clip to the upper body.

Upper body

Locate the large decorative ring (f) and using a few drops of glue for added

security, press the ring over the stepped section of the upper body. Ensure it is

fitted the correct way around. (the butting face has a chamfer on the inside edge)

(See Fig 5).

Introduce the Pen Tip (i) through the lower decorative ring (h), carefully align the

tip with the lower end of the lower body and press firmly together (See Fig 6).

Press the centre joining bush (b) into the upper end of the lower body, (with the

threaded section outward) Screw the twist mechanism (g) onto the threaded

portion of the centre joining bush (b). Introduce the twist mechanism (g) into the

upper body, ensure the bodies are aligned and press together. Press together until

the large decorative ring (f) covers the ring of the centre joining bush (b). The

protrusions on the twist mechanism (g) will provide sufficient anchor to hold the

upper body in place and turn the twist mechanism (g) to extend and retract the

tip. Unscrew the upper body (the twist mechanism mounting thread) and separate

the two parts. Introduce the pen refill (j) into the twist mechanism (g), feed it into

the lower body and screw the two parts together again. Overtighten slightly, (to

prevent the pen unscrewing when extending or retracting the ball point)

Note: When taking the pen apart to replace the ink cartridge the two halves

must be unscrewed and not pulled apart.
