1. AWARNINGS
I ge sure to connect the power cord of the P-7100 only to an AC outlet of
the same voltage as indicated on the rear panel of the unit.

I Do not replace the feet of the unit. lf fastening screws come into contact
with internal parts of the unit, there is a risk of electric shock or fire.
ITo ensure proper heat dissipation, leave sufficient clearance (at least 10
cm) between the unit and other components and surrounding walls, etc.
I Do not place any object containing liquid (vases, flower pots, drinking
cups, bottles with cosmetics or chemicals, etc.) on top of the unit.
lTo prevent the risk of fire or electric shock, never use the unit in a loca-
tion exposed to rain or high levels of humidity.
I Never install the unit in a closed rack or similar. lf proper ventilation is
not provided, overheating can lead to damage and fire.
lNever attempt to remove the top or bottom plate of the unit. Othervvise
there is a severe risk of electric shock and damage to the unit.
I ln the following cases, immediately turn off the power and disconnect
the power cord from the AC outlet.
o The unit has been exposed to water or chemicals.
o A foreign object (metal or flammable material) has entered the unit.

o The unit was dropped or damaged externally.
x Simply setting the power switch to OFF will not fully disconnect the unit from the power supply. To
completely interrupt the power supply, disconnect the power cord. Otherwise there is a risk of fire,
electric shock, and damage to the unit.
x lf there is a problem, be sure to contact an Accuphase Service Station or your Accuphase dealer.
