Key colours / displays
The cleaning key lights up differently according to operating mode:
White (flickering slowly):
– Energy-saving mode ➔ page 18
White (constant):
– Machine ready for coffee/tea/milk output
Amber (flickering slowly):
– Energy-saving mode; cleaning required ➔ p. 18, 12/24
Amber (constant):
– Clean the milk system (press key) ➔ p. 12/24
– Cooling pause for milk system (press key) ➔ p.15
Blue (constant):
– Water tank empty; fill with water ➔ page 9
Blue (flashing):
– Filling water circuit
Red (flashing during output):
Decalcify the machine ➔ page 28/30
Red (constant):
– Electronics fault or temperature too high or too low (below
5 °C); switch off and try again after 30 minutes. If still red
➔ contact your service agent (machine needs 30 minutes
to warm up from <5°C to room temperature)
Violet (flashing; new version only):

Violet (constant; new version only):
