B.1 Before Making a Call
You will need to make a call to ensure your setup in the previous section is
correct. However, before you proceed to turn on the device, make sure
the two volume control wheels are not selected to the extreme, as high
speaker volume may damage your ear and the unit, and high microphone
volume will cause loud "squealing" feedback-noise.

B.2 Making Your First Call
Test your T1 Telephone's setup by making a phone call to someone. Put on
your headset and make sure it's connected properly as illustrated in the
previous section. Please make sure you wait 10 seconds after you plug in
your telephone before making your first call.

to turn on the device and get a line.
You should be able to hear a dial-tone
and the (2) LED-Status Indicator
should light up BLUE.
Press the Online/Offline Button again
to end your call.

B.3 Adjusting Your Speaker and Microphone Volume
While still in your call, you can adjust the incoming volume by using the (16)
Speaker Volume Adjustment Wheel. Turn the dial upward to increase
the speaker volume of your headset.
To adjust the outgoing volume of your microphone, turn the (14)
Microphone Volume Adjustment Wheel upward to increase the
transmission level.

B.4 Muting Your Calls
During a call, you can mute your
microphone so that the person on
the other side of the line cannot
hear you. Mute your call by pressing
the (15) Microphone Mute
Switch.
The (2) LED-Status Indicator will
light up RED during mute.

Make sure you DO NOT over turn
the (14) Microphone Volume
Adjustment Wheel, as this may
cause high pitched "squealing" noise
as a result of feedback.
