Mounting for ceiling holder with mounting plate
If you want to secure the gateway to the ceiling, you can mount it on the ceiling using a
mounting bracket (90°) and the gateway holder for ceiling installation (6GT2790-0BE20).
Make sure that the gateway's connectors are facing the ground. The screws are supplied with
the device, but the mounting bracket and anchors are not.
Follow these steps to mount the gateway to the ceiling:
1. Mount the mounting bracket onto the ceiling.
– Drill the holes in the ceiling with a suitable tool.
– Insert the suitable anchors in the holes.
– Mount the mounting bracket onto the ceiling.
2. Screw the gateway holder for ceiling installation into the mounting bracket so that it is
aligned vertically; see figure.
3. Secure the gateway to the gateway holder for ceiling installation using screws (M4). Use the
supplied plastic screw for the upper opening on the rear of the gateway, see footnote on the
dimension drawing, and the metal screws for the fixings at the bottom of the gateway.
