Dimensions

Before starting any installation work, check
the dimensions of both the hob and the
housing that will have to be cut in the
worktop (Fig. 4).
According to the norm EN 60.365-2-6 for
household appliances, it is class "X" (Fig.
4).
Only use this appliance on top of built-in
ovens wich are equipped with a cooling
mechanism.
Do not install above built-under
refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers and
similar appliances!
When installing above ovens, please ensure
the oven is equipped with a cooling fan.
For installation on top of an oven, check the
size of the oven as given in its assembly
manual.

Electrical Connection

Check the voltage and total output on the
specifications label.
It is obligatory that the appliance be
earthed.
The electrical connection must be carried
out by a qualified technician. This person
must ensure that the connection is carried
out in accordance with the legal
stipulations laid down in each particular
country. In addition, the directives
stipulated by the local electricity Supply
Company should be strictly adhered to.
To comply with the usual safety
regulations, the installer should fit a
double pole switch device with a contact
clearance of at least 3mm. This is not
necessary in the case of connection by
means of a plug, provided that the user
has easy-access to it.
Appliances fitted with a plug should only
be connected to an earthed socket.

that the appliance is not earthed, or that the
earthing is not correct, we do not accept
any type of responsibility.
To connect:
When carrying out the installation, connect
the earthwire first; and disconnect it last
when disassembling the appliance.
The hob is fitted with a 6 x 1,5mm
electrical cable made of silicone suitable for
a 220-230 V, 2 phase connection.
The appliance is type "Y". This means that
the input supply cable cannot be changed
by the user. Only the brand´s service
technicions are qualified to replace this
cable. Use the right cable type and section.

Installing the hob into the
kitchen unit
Cut out the housing in the kitchen unit
worktop to the specified dimensions (Fig. 4).
Protecting the cut surfaces
The wood fibres used in the manufacture of
worktops swell relatively quickly when they
are damp. Therefore, cover the cut surfaces
with a special glue to protect them from
steam or condensation that could be
deposited on the underside of the kitchen
unit worktop.
Fitting the hob into the worktop
