FIRMWARE UPDATE
Automatic Update Using USB Drive
Copy the firmware file named "upgrade.img" to the USB drive, then make a new TXT
file named "upgrade.txt," put it into the USB drive, it can be blank. The progress bar
will display the procedure while updating. Turn off the power and then on after the
update.
Now, two restrictions for not updating:
1. While in the SETUP menu
2. Playing videos with buttons
Manual Update:
Copy the new firmware named "upgrade.img" to the USB drive or SD card, insert to
the port of ad player, press the MENU and then SETUP to update. Turn off the power
and then on after update.
Note:
a. DO NOT turn off the power or pull out the USB drive or SD card during the update,
or the flash memory may be damaged
b. DO NOT keep both "upgrade.txt" and "USB2SD.txt" in the USB drive, or it will
cause malfunctions.
Warning and Important Safeguards
1. If you are not a specialist, please don't open the frame of the AD player for internal
inspection, we will not take any responsibility for any incidences.
2. DO NOT cut of the power during the updating process to avoid firmware and
dates missing.
3. DO NOT insert or pull out the SD card while it's working.
4. DO NOT place heavy objects on the LCD screen, to avoid screen damage.
5. DO NOT expose the AD player to rain or moisture.
6. If the AD player doesn't work for a long time, shut the power off.
Language
Press MENU to enter the main menu, and then

Brightness
Move the cursor to BRIGHTNESS. Press ENTER
to select the level, press ENTER to confirm.
Contrast
Adjusted the same way as brightness.
Clock and Auto ON/OFF
Time:
Move the cursor to CLOCK, press ENTER to enter
CLOCK SETTING.
