operating

Be_re operating the system, check that the operating
voltage
of your system is identical
with the voltage
of
your local power supply.

safety
• The system
is not disconnected
from the AC power

as long as it is connected
to the wall
outlet, even if the system
itself has been tmaled oft'.
• Unplug
the system
from the wall outlet (mains)
if it

disconnect
the power cord (mains lead), pull it out by
the plug. Never pull the cord itself.

use this system at a large volume,
the cabinet
temperature
of the top, side and bottom
rises considerably.
To avoid burning

touch the cabinet.
• To prevent
a malfimction,
do not cover the
ventilation
hole for the cooling tan
On operation
• If the system
is brought
directly
flora a cold to a
warm location,
or is placed
in a ve;y, damp room,
moisime
may condense
on the lens inside the system.
Should this occur, the system will not operate
properly
Remove the disc and leave the system

with a protection

This may cause a malflmction
to the system

• When using discs thai have glue or similar
tacky

substance
on the label side of the disc or that used a
special ink when the label was printed,
there is a
chance
lllat the disc oi label may become
attached to

parts inside this system. When this occms, it may not

to iemove
the disc
and may also cause

this system to malfimction.
Be sine to check that the

label side of the disc is not stick}' before using.
The following
types of disc should not be used:
Rental
or used discs with attached
seals where the
glue extends beyond
the seal. The pelimeter
of the
seal on the disc is tacky
Discs that have labels printed using a special
ink
that fbels tack}, when touched.
• Discs with non-standard
shapes (e.g.
heart
square
stm) cannot be played back on this system
Attempting
to do so may damage the system.
