player to operate this feature.

Notes
¢ You can check the remaining time during
normal, shuffle, delete, and programme
play.
* The total playing time and number of
tracks also appear in the display when
you press & OPEN/CLOSE to close the
disc tray.
¢ If the CD has more than 20 tracks, the
remaining time in a track appears "--.--".
Notes on handling discs
* To keep the disc clean, handle the disc by
its edge. Do not touch the surface.
¢Do not stick paper or tape onto the disc.
* Do not expose the CD to direct sunlight or
heat sources such as hot air ducts, nor
leave it in a car parked in direct sunlight
as there can be a considerable rise in
temperature inside the car.

Playing Tracks in
Random Order
(shuffle play)
You can play all the tracks on the CD in
random order. Use the buttons on the unit
to do this operation.
POWER—ON
CONTINUE
1 Press SHUFFLE.
"SHUFFLE" appears in the display.
2 Press >.
" ©, " appears and then all the tracks
play in random order.
To stop playing
Press Mi.
To cancel shuffle play
Press CONTINUE.
"SHUFFLE" disappears from the display,
and tracks continue playing in their original
order.
To replay the current track during shuffle
play
Press Kid <q.
You cannot replay the previous track.

Playing Only the
Desired Tracks
(delete play)
You can delete unwanted tracks and play
the remaining tracks in order.
POWER—ON
Before operation
Set the TUNER/EQ/CD selector on the
remote commander to CD.
1 Press SHUFFLE so that "SHUFFLE"
appears in the display.
2 Press the numeric button for the track
you want to delete.
The track number and "OFF" appear in
the display.
3 Press CONTINUE.
"SHUFFLE" disappears from the
display.
4 Press >.
The remaining tracks play in order.
To restore all the tracks you have
deleted
Press Mf in stop mode.
