6.2.2 Coil connector positioning
The design of the solenoid allows the solenoid coil to be rotated through 360° so that the coil connector faces the power cable or respects the stop
space on the machine. Use the following procedure to rotate the coil:
› Loosen the plastic nut at the end of the control system.
› Rotate the solenoid coil so that the coil connector points in the desired direction.
› Secure the position of the coil by retightening the plastic nut to 3+1 Nm.
6.2.3 Electrical connection of the valve and sensor
Remove the plastic cover of the coil connector (if applicable to the connector type) and the plastic cover of the position sensor connector.
For the electrical connection, use a socket compatible with the connector type used. Observe the correct pin assignment of the encoder connector in
relation to the function of your control unit (see encoder wiring diagram).
WARNING
Solenoid coils
Control solenoid coils are designed for continuous operation (100% ED).
The coils have been assessed for compliance with Directive 2014/35/EU (LVD) when the nominal voltage is higher than 50 V AC or 75 V DC, Directive
2014/30/EU (EMC) and Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS).
The coils are marked with the CE conformity mark on the housing. The voltage and current ratings for the coil power supply are indicated on the coil
casing. Supply voltage fluctuations are allowed within ±10% of the UN.

For the AC coil supply (marked 02450, 12060 and 23050 in the key) the coil design type E5 must be selected
with a built-in rectifier in the connector foot.
Coils with a supply voltage of 205 V DC (designated in key 20500) are designed for 230 V AC / 50(60) Hz supply,
when the rectifier is built into the connector socket. The lower coil voltage corresponds to the voltage drop across the rectifier.

6.3 Commissioning
Before commissioning the hydraulic circuit, check:
› correct tightening of the valve mounting screws
› electrical wiring and connectors are intact
› correct fixing of the coil and sensor connector
› correct connection of the valve to the control unit
› setting the correct values of the electrical parameters on the power supply

Electrical connection
The electrical connection of the solenoid to the power supply and the connection of the position sensor to the
control unit must only be carried out by persons with the appropriate electrical qualifications.
It is forbidden to use damaged connectors or cables for electrical connection.
There is a risk of electric shock and short-circuiting of the electrical equipment.

Voltage and current values
Observe the specified values of the electrical parameters for controlling the solenoid coil and powering the
position sensor. Respect the parameters of the sensor outputs when designing the control unit.
If the limit parameters are exceeded, there is a risk of damage to the electrical parts of the valve and damage to
the control unit.
