CLEANING THE APPLIANCE
It is important to clean your filters regulary. Failure to do so will lead to loss of suction in the
appliance. Follow these simple steps to keep your vacuum working efficiently.
1.
Turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintaining.
2.
Wipe the external surface of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth and allow to dry thoroughly.
3.
Do not use any detergents or harsh cleaning agents to clean any parts of the appliance.
4.
Remove the dust container lid using the arrows as a guide and remove the inner filter holder as in Fig 1 & Fig 2
below.
5.
Remove the black sponge filter from the filter holder as in Fig 3.
6.
Clean both parts of the filter by gently tapping them into a dustbin.
7.
Insert black sponge filter back into the filter holder.
8.
Replace filter and holder back into the top of the dust container, using arrows as a guide where it was
removed from.
9.
To replace the cassette system, remove the separator from the clear plastic cassette as in Fig 4 and remove
any excess dust.
If the sponge filter is heavily soiled it can be rinsed with warm water. You will need to allow
at least 24 hours drying time before using the appliance again.
If the vacuum cleaner has lost suction or is not picking up small items,
this indicates that the filters need cleaning. This needs to be done on a
regular basis to keep your vacuum cleaner in tip-top condition.
