Disposing of your computer
The life of a battery depends on usage. When the battery needs to
be replaced, the main battery light flashes amber shortly after you
have fully recharged the battery.
Discard this computer in accordance with applicable laws and
regulations.
Disposal of this product may be regulated due to environmental
considerations. For disposal, reuse, or recycling information, please
contact your local government.
In addition, Toshiba's recycling initiatives include recycling
programs, events and consumer promotions. For details, please visit

If something goes wrong
Problems that are easy to fix
Your program stops responding.
If you are working with a program that suddenly freezes all
operations, chances are the program has stopped responding. You
can exit the failed program without shutting down the operating
system or closing other programs.
To close a program that has stopped responding:

Press
Task Manager.
The Windows

Click the Applications tab.
If a program has stopped responding, the words "not
responding" appear beside its name in the list.

Select the program you want to close, then click End Task.
Closing the failed program should allow you to continue
working. If it does not, continue with the next step.
Never attempt to dispose of a computer by burning or by throwing
it into a fire, and never allow exposure to a heating apparatus
(e.g., microwave oven). Heat can cause a computer to explode and/or
release caustic liquid, both which may possibly cause serious injury.
