Play audio from an external
device
You can use this unit to play audio from an
external device.

Connect the MP3 link cable to

MP3 LINK jack of this unit
•
the audio output jack (usually
headphone jack) of the external
device.

Press MP3-LINK.

manual of this device for details).
Listen through headphone
Plug a headphone into the

You can set a time for automatic back to one

the timer, and press SLEEP/TIMER to
confirm.
Press SLEEP/TIMER to activate the timer.

Alarm timer is not available in MP3 LINK
mode.

If DISC/USB source is selected and the
track cannot be played, tuner is activated
automatically.

If iPod/iPhone/iPad playlist is selected as
alarm source, you need create a playlist called
"PHILIPS" in your iPod/iPhone/iPad.
•
If no playlist called "PHILIPS" created in the
iPod/iPhone/iPad or no track is stored in the
playlist, the unit switches to iPod/iPhone/iPad
alarm source.
Select one file.
Press PROGRAM to add this file into
playlist.
Repeat step 1 and 2 to add other files.
Press DISC MENU to view the detailed
information about playlist.
During play, press SLEEP/TIMER
repeatedly to select a period.
