TIMER OPERATION
Wake-up Timer: Set playback to start
at a specified time
You can specify a time setting for
starting playback. This "Wake-up
Timer" function lets you wake up to
your favorite radio station, CD, or
MD (available only when the MD
recorder (sold separately) is
connected to this system) instead of
a noisy alarm clock.

Before setup
Before setting the Wake-up Timer, make sure that the
clock shows the right time.
See page 17 for instructions on setting the time.

Press the POWER button to turn on the
power.
Set up the audio source.
7 To listen to the radio
Select the FM or AM band and tune in to
the desired station.
7 To listen to a CD
Load the CD.
7 To listen to connected audio equipment
Set up the audio equipment for playback.
Note: the CD/Receiver System's Wake-up Timer
function cannot be used to start playback
from connected audio equipment. If the
audio equipment has its own timer start
function, you can use that function to start
playback at a specified time.
Press the TIMER SETTING button.
This causes "WAKE UP" to flash in the
display panel.
Press the ENTER button.
The "Hour" flashes.
Press the + or – button to set the
"Hour" for the playback start time,
then press the ENTER button.
