| Search for a Time Number
[To search for the scene located at time number 12 min. 34 sec (LD/CDV}
1. Press the CHAPTER/FRAME TIME key.
2. Enter [1], [2], [3] and [4] with the digit keys.
lf you make a mistake during entry:
Press the CLEAR
key to reset the time number
to
"00:00", and press the correct digit keys (4 digits with
discs containing information on the digits of seconds, 2
digits with discs without the second information) again.
3. Press the SEARCH/MEMORY key or PLAY key.
CAUTION
@ if a disc does not contain information on the digits of
seconds,
specify the time
number
only as far as the
minute digits.
@ if a time number beyond the last time number on the disc
is specified, the end of the disc is played for about 8
seconds and disc playback stops.
|. To search for a time on a specified track (CD)

1. Press the CHAPTER/FRAME TIME key.
2. Press the CHAPTER
SKIP/TRACK SEARCH
|€4 or
P| key so that the desired track number appears in
the front panel display window.

3. Enter the track time with the digit keys (0-9). The
+10 key does not function.
4. Press the PLAY » key or SEARCH/MEMORY key.

Playback starts under the playback
conditions set before the search.
[ To search for a point by designating the elapsed time from the beginning of the disc (CD)
1, Press the CHAPTER/FRAME
TIME key so that "Ab"
appears
in the front panel display window.
(On the
monitor screen, "ABS" appears).
2. Enter the elapsed time from the beginning of the disc
with the digit keys (0-9).
3. Press the PLAY » key or SEARCH/MEMORY
key,
Playback starts from the specified elapsed time.

is
pressed, the beginning of each track is played for about 8
seconds,

During the desired chapter or track is played, press the
PLAY ® key. The unit enters play mode. If the PAUSE key
is pressed, the unit enters pause mode.
