7. User Responsibilities

You must read and understand this instruction guide prior to using the appliance. You may void your

warranty if the appliance is not installed, used and maintained in accordance with these instructions.

Use only dry fuel with a moisture content not exceeding 25%.

•

High fuel moisture content simply causes poor performance and creates soot deposits that

•

block up the fire. The better the fuel, the better the heating performance.

•

Do not use treated timbers as a fuel source. Timber treated with preservatives will leave

toxic residues in the firebox, the flue and the atmosphere. The combustion of this material

even over short periods of time will deteriorate the appliance and void the warranty.

The appliance must never be used if the boiler is not connected and filled with water.

•

When using the stove in situations where children, aged and/or infirm persons are present a

fireguard must be used to prevent accidental contact with the appliance which may cause

burns.

Always keep combustible households items and furniture a safe distance (at least 600mm)

•

away from the appliance, clothing being dried is a common source of household fires.

•

Do not use any aerosol sprays on or near the stove when it is alight, this includes cleaners

and air purifiers that may contain flammable substances.

Your Firenzo Fusion utilises gasification combustion technology, so runs quite differently to a

conventional wood stove. You must operate your stove strictly in accordance with these

instructions, this will enable you to achieve efficient use of your fuel and get maximum heat output.
