OPERATING THE DEVICE
The steam cleaner is intended to clean heat- and
damp-proof materials and objects for domestic
household use.
The device must not be used to treat the following
materials or objects:
• Non heat- or damp-proof materials (various
plastics, cold glass, etc.)
• Electric devices
• Delicate textiles (velvet, velour, leather, etc.)
• Varnished, veneered or coated surfaces
(furniture, doors, etc.)
• Banded edges
• Unsealed wooden or parquet floor
• Ingrown or oiled wooden surfaces
• People, animals or plants
• Material or surfaces containing substances
harmful to health
Filling/refilling water
• Before filling or refilling the water heater,
always switch the device off and unplug from
the mains supply.
• Subsequently, the steam pressure present in the
device must be reduced. To do so, press the
steam control on the handle, until the remaining
steam has escaped.

• Before opening the safety catch, the steam
pressure within the device must be reduced and
the device be allowed to cool for at least 15
minutes! If the device remains very hot, there
is the risk of water spraying back out when it is
filled.
• After allowing to cool, place the device on a
stable, level surface. Press down the safety
catch and slowly turn it in an anti-clockwise
direction, until it can be removed. Be careful
when doing so, since some remaining steam still
present may escape.
• Insert the funnel into the heater opening.
• Please be careful to note, when filling the water
heater, that the maximum capacity of 500 ml
must not be exceeded.
• When filling the water heater, always only use
clean tap water. Never fill by allowing water
into the heater directly from the tap. Always use
the measuring jug and funnel to fill the device!
• If the tap water is very calciferous, the use of
distilled water is recommended, since otherwise
the heater will very rapidly become calcified
and require frequent cleaning.
