Fiery EX4112/4127, version 1.0
This document contains information about the Fiery EX4112/4127 version 1.0. Before using
the Fiery EX4112/4127 with version 1.0, make copies of these Customer Release Notes and
distribute them to all users.

Before printing to the Fiery EX4112/4127:
• Make sure that the latest Fiery EX4112/4127 system software is installed on the Fiery
EX4112/4127. For more information, check with your network administrator or qualified
field service technician.
• Install printer drivers on client computers. For instructions, see Printing from Windows and
Printing from Mac OS on the user documentation CD.
Check for updated WHQL-certified PostScript and PCL drivers on Xerox.com.

• Install the latest Fiery EX4112/4127 user software on client computers. For instructions,
see Utilities on the user documentation CD.
Point-and-Print installation
If you have installed printer drivers using the Point-and-Print method (Windows or SMB
printing), and then install the Fiery EX4112/4127 user software on the same computer,
the printer drivers may stop working. Remove the printer drivers using the Fiery Printer
Delete Utility, and reinstall them using Point-and-Print after installing the user software.

the user documentation CD.
Opening Configure
If Google Desktop is installed on a client computer, you may not be able to open WebTools
Configure. If this happens, close Google Desktop before starting Configure.
Inconsistent user names
The Administrator user name appears as "admin" in WebTools Scan Settings, whereas it
appears as "Administrator" in Command WorkStation and Configure. However, the access
rights are the same and appropriate for the Administrator as described in Command
WorkStation Help.
