Connecting Headphones or External Audio
Equipment
You can connect a set of stereo headphones with a stereo mini
plug to the [PHONES/OUTPUT]. This jack also functions as an
external output for sending the audio signal of this inst
equipment. The speakers of the instrument are
external audio
automatically shut off when a headphones plug, etc. is inserted
into this jack.

CAUTION
• Before using the headphones, be sure to set the volume of the instrument at the
minimum level. Then gradually raise the volume while playing the instrument, for
your ear comfort and safety.
• Do not use the instrument or headphones for a long period of time at a high or
uncomfortable volume level, since this can cause permanent hearing loss.
• Before connecting the instrument to other electronic devices, make sure to set
all volume levels to minimum, and then turn on the power of all the devices. (The
PSR-F52 must be turned on to enable setting of the volume level.) Otherwise,
damage to the components or electrical shock may occur.

This lets you prevent the Master Volume from accidentally
being set too loud.
