INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
Supplies required: (not provided by Acorn)
1. Wall fasteners for signage & possible eye/face
wash mounting.
2. Pipe sealant or Teflon tape for sealing water
connections.
IMPORTANT: FLUSH WATER SUPPLY LINES
PRIOR TO CONNECTION TO SAFETY
EQUIPMENT.
NOTES:
—
Use hand tools and wrenches in a manner which
will prevent marring finished surfaces. Strap
wrenches or tools with plastic jaw linings are
highly recommended.

Refer to Rough-in for location of supply and
drain lines.
—
Fragments of Teflon tape or pipe sealant residue
can interfere with the proper operation of this
unit. Ensure pipe sealant methods do not cause
contamination in the system.
STEP ONE: MOUNTING
1. Determine desired mounting location and cut (1)
11-1/2" DIA. mounting hole for eye/facewash
assembly and (2) 1-3/8" DIA. holes for the
actuator assembly through counter top at a
minimum of 8-1/2" apart.
2. Remove flange nut and bracket from drain fitting.
3. Insert eye/facewash assembly through hole and
secure in place with bracket assembly (provided)
from under side of counter top.
4. Tighten flange nut on drain fitting. Adjustment
screws can be tightened to secure basin to
contour. Do not over tighten.
5. Insert valve actuator assembly down into the 1-
3/8" DIA. mounting holes adjacent to
eye/facewash assembly and secure with flange
nuts and washers from under side of the deck.
STEP TWO: SUPPLY LINE
1. Install water line (supplied by installer) in close
proximity to actuator valve location and connect
to the ½ water supply shown in the installation
diagram.
2. Connect actuator assembly to strainer using
installer's preferred method.
3. Open water supply.
4. Test for leaks, proper operation and flow.
STEP THREE: SINAGE & INSPECTION
1. Position sign with clear visibility, in close
proximity to safety equipment and mark
mounting hole locations.
2. Select appropriate 1/4" anchors, screws and
washers (Supplied by others) to install signage.
3. Attach inspection tag supplied, with plastic zip
tie.
