Operation
Turn ignition and radio "ON"

Connect Apple device (iPod, iPad or iPhone) to Lightning plug

Apple device should show charging icon
3.
Press CD/AUX button on radio repeatedly until "AUX Mode" is enabled.

Alternately: To switch from CD to AUX press the "AUX" Soft key)
From Apple device select a song of your choosing. Audio will be played

on car speakers.
Use radio volume knob to set playback level

Warning: Playlist and Track selection is *NOT* possible from the radio.
You must use the Apple device built-in controls to access music files.

Frequent ask questions & troubleshooting
Why is your adapter different than what others are offering?
1.
Our cable has a single 8-pin Lightning plug for both audio playback and
charging and will not damage your device. Other offerings have a lighting
plug (charging) and a 3.5mm (headphone plug) for audio playback.
My vehicle has optional AUX jack. Does the iL-CDR30 work in vehicles

with factory AUX?
YES;
but factory AUX jack must be disconnected and will no longer function.
Does the iL-CDR30 work on all Porsche radios?

NO;
the iL-CDR30 works on all Porsche Vehicles equipped with a CDR-30
and CDR-31 Radio. Not for vehicles equipped with PCM radios
Can I control Apple device from radio buttons?

NO;
you must continue to use Apple built-in controls and display to
operate your device or optional remote control. CDR-30/31 volume
knob is used to set playback level.
My vehicle has factory Bluetooth hands-free. Will that still work after

installing your IL-CDR30?
YES;
Factory Hand-free kit continues to work and not affected by this add-
on.
