6. Electrical connections
The signal isolator SIRAX TI 807 is plugged onto a backplane
BP 902. A 96 pin connector (Model C, DIN 41 612) estab-
lishes the electrical connections between the transmitter
and the backplane. The pin connections can be seen from
Fig. 5 and 6.
Please refer to our backplane instructions for the back-
plane wiring.
Make sure that the cables are not live when
making the connections!
In the case of "Intrinsically safe" explosion-
proof versions [EEx ib ] IIC or [EEx ia] IIC,
the supplementary information given on the
type test certificate and also local regula-
tions applicable to electrical installations
in explosion hazard areas must be taken
into account.
