To Operate
1. Remove protective fi lm from
plastic surface.
2. Place the copy or material you wish to
back-light on top of the acrylic surface.
3. Plug the light box into an electrical outlet.
Depress and hold the white button on
the back right hand side of the unit. Hold
the button down until the light box is fully
illuminated.
Note: Never cut materials on top of
plastic surface
Maintenance
Cleaning: Clean the plastic surface with soft
cloth and non-abrasive cleaner. Do not apply
cleaner directly onto the acrylic as it may seep
inside the unit.
Lamp Replacement
(See diagram below)
Caution: Be certain that the LightTracer
is unplugged before replacing the lamp.
To remove bulb
1. Pry open the front edge of the plastic
surface with a screwdriver where indicated
on diagram.
2. Place the Light box upright with the bulb
side down and the refl ectors facing you.
3. Grasp the bulb and rotate the bulb toward
you with thumb until spring tension
releases (Approximately 1/4 turn).
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
4. On one side, slide fi ngers behind and lift
bulb out of the socket. Push away from
you and as close to the bottom of the
refl ector as is possible.
5. Lift that end of the bulb up and out of the
unit as you free the other side.
To reinstall bulb
1. Insert one end of lamp into lamp socket.
2. Move the other end of lamp away from
you and slide as close to the bottom of the
housing as is possible.
3. Move the lamp up to the socket and rotate
lamp away from you with thumb until lamp
locks into place. (Approximately 114 turn.)
4. Snap acrylic back into place using
pressure with thumbs on four corners.

defects in material and workmanship for fi ve years
from the date of sale to the original purchaser. Any
part of the equipment which becomes defective
under normal installation and use will be repaired
or replaced without charge for factory labor and
materials, providing the equipment is returned,
shipping pre-paid, to our factory within this

AUTHORIZATION. This warranty does not apply
to equipment which has been subjected to abuse,
accident, or alteration, nor to equipment which
has been improperly installed or wired in violation
of the printed instructions furnished. The warranty
registration card should be fi lled out and returned
