Your AKO - Radiant Panel Heater radiates heat and directly warms persons or objects - even those who
have a certain distance to the appliance. You can choose between OFF, low power and full power functions
with thermostat. The thermostat enables continuous temperature setting from approx. +5°C to +35°C. The
appliance can be used as footed appliance. It can be also used as wall appliance by means of a wall brack-
et.

Unpacking the appliance
- Check the appliance for visible damage. If you should notice any damage, do not use the appliance.
Please contact your dealer.
- Please dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally-friendly manner.
Wall mounting (see figs 4 - 6 on page 2)
(You need a size 2 cross-head screw driver)
- Press down the two interlock means at the upper side of the wall bracket
pliance. Drill 4 holes Ø6mm in the wall (the measurements are shown in fig. 6). Take into account the
safety distances (figs. 4, 5). Make sure that no other installations (e.g. electricity or water) are located in
the immediate vicinity of the drill-holes. Use the provided raw plugs and screws to affix the bracket to the
wall. Hang the appliance into the wall bracket, first lower side then upper side (see arrows in fig. 6). The
upper interlock means must lock into place audibly. Plug in mains plug.
When you intend to use the appliance as footed appliance please mount the feet (see fig. 7).
(You need a size 2 cross-head screw driver)
- Put up the appliance with lower side showing up. Fix the two feet by means of two screws each (arrows).
Press the casters into the provided drilled holes in the feet until they lock into place audibly (arrows). Turn
the appliance round.
Rotary switch positions (see fig. 2)
0 - Heating is turned off
While heating, the pilot lamp of the appliance lights up.
Thermostat function (see fig. 3 / Rotary switch position 1 or 2)
The thermostat turns the appliance on and off automatically. If the room temperature remains below the
temperature set, the appliance will start to heat until the required temperature is reached again.

The frost protection position can be set when the room temperature in (unused) rooms should not fall
below +5°C, e.g. to prevent freezing of water pipes.
T I P for setting your desired room temperature
- Set the thermostat to maximum (Pos. 10). ¬ The appliance starts to heat.
- As soon as the desired room temperature is reached, turn the thermostat anticlockwise until the pilot lamp
turns off. ¬ The set room temperature will be almost maintained by the appliance.
After use
- Set the rotary switch to the 0 pos. If the appliance is not to be used for a longer period of time, unplug it.
Cleaning the appliance
- If required, the appliance can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth.
Maintenance
The appliance should be cleaned once a year by a specialist in order to remove accumulated dust which
can jeopardize the functionality of the appliance.

ufacturer.
