DIVISION FACTOR
A double click will change the division factor. By default the
division factor is 10; so an incoming 50 khz ultrasound will
be converted to 5 khz. With a double click, the division
factor is changed to 16; and a single long led blink is visible.
A further double click, will change the factor
to 8; indicated by two long blinks. Another
8
double click reverts the setting back to 10,
followed by three blinks.

The Batango is completely digital, and
allows great flexibility due to the low
power
and
high
frequency
microcontroller. All the incoming sounds, below 9 khz are
effectively blocked.
Due to the fact that it's a digital device, the sounds heard
with your headphones are against a silent background
(without noise or hiss).
This is a low power device, that uses less 3.5 mA, utilizing a
single coin cell battery. when in action.
If no ultrasound is captured, then the Batango enters a
Sleep mode, reducing current consumption.
When unused for 30 minutes, it enters into a deep sleep
mode, and power consumption is further reduced to only 10
µA.
