Power Supply Operational Manual
Important: Please read and save the operating instructions.
Danger: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, carefully follow these instructions.
Storage, Operation, Set-Up
1.
Be sure that the power source is equipped with a circuit breaker.
2.
Store the power pack in a place free from excessive humidity, temperature, and dust. Keep
it away from metallic objects.
3.
Do not place objects on the unit.
4.
Use the fittings provided to secure the unit. The installation area should be vibration free.
5.
Do not store the unit next to high voltage equipment.
Caution
1.
Do not drop the power supply.
2.
Connect to a power source of only the specified voltage.
3.
Only use compatible screwdrivers with the power supply.
4.
Do not drag the unit by its power cord. Keep the cord away from foreign objects, oil, and sharp
implements.
5.
Grasp the plug when disconnecting the power cord.
6.
Do not disassemble or modify the unit.
7.
If the unit overheats, activates a circuit breaker, or exhibits other abnormalities, stop operation
immediately, unplug the unit, and contact ASG for repair.
8.
When the unit is not in use, turn the power switch off and disconnect it from its power source.
9.
For connection to a supply not in the USA, use an attachment plug adapter of the proper
configuration for the power outlet.
10. Install a leakage breaker and safety breaker on the input power source and connect the ground
to use the unit.
11. Do not use if the AC cord is cut, frayed, or abraded.

The PS-55C has a reduced output capacity and will not properly operate tools other than
the tools listed. You would not be able to achieve full performance on tools not listed. While
CL-7000, BL-7000 SS-7000 and A-6500 series tools will operate using the PS-55, PS-55 SS and
PS-110 you my not be able to achieve full performance or the maximum rated torque output
of these tools. Please contact ASG with any questions regarding screwdriver/power supply
compatibility.
