Replacing a Toner Cartridge

If the messages [16 C トナーチェック], [16 K トナーコウカン] or [16 Y トナーコウカン]

appear on the display, or if a print starts to fade, follow the instructions below to replace the toner cartridge for

the color required.

The instructions for changing the C(Cyan), M(Magenta), Y(Yellow) and K(Black) toner cartridges are the

same. When the color mark is different to the color of the cartridge you want to change, open and close the

toner cartridge cover again.

button to open the toner cartridge

cover.

Shake the new toner cartridge

gently five or six times so that the

toner is evenly distributed within the

cartridge.

Line up the toner cartridge with the

guide and insert it all the way in, then

push it to the rear side to lock it into

position.

Open the toner cartridge turret cover

and remove the used color toner

cartridge.

Place the toner cartridge on a flat

surface, press and hold the cartridge

and pull out on the tape seal.

Close the toner cartridge turret

cover, then close the toner cartridge

cover.
