Setting the Machine
Remove the Shipping Materials

Remove all shipping tapes, styrofoam, and small black pad from the machine.

Remove the clear protective sheet on the
LCD display.

Lift the scanning platform and remove the
tapes under it. Lower the platform
carefully.

Lift the document feeder slightly and pull
out the protective sheet straight to
remove.
Caution
Be careful not to catch your hand when lowering the
scanning platform as it may lead to personal injury.

Lift the platen glass cover and remove
the tapes and protective sheets on the
platen glass.

Attach the document feeder tray (A) on
the document feeder.
