When the headset is not being used, it should be sat in a way that prevents the legs from

becoming too compressed. There are two ways to achieve this: place the headset upside

down, so the top is resting on a surface (Fig. 2), or to place the headset so that the ear cup is

resting on a surface (Fig. 3). Either of these positions ensure that the legs will not be

compressed.

In the case that the legs become compressed, leaving the headset on a mannequin head to

extend the legs outward. After leaving the headset on the mannequin overnight, the headset

should be comfortable to wear again. If not, put it back on the mannequin until it becomes

comfortable to wear.

If the headset will not be used for an extended period of time, it is a good idea to put it back

into the original plastic hard case that it came in.
