SAFETY
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Improper installation and operation could cause
personal injury and/or equipment and property damage.
Read and understand the Owner's Manual before
installing, operating or making adjustments.
• NEVER get under the unit during maintenance
procedures without properly securing the unit.
• ALWAYS take a few minutes to properly secure
your broom using dunnage or jack stands to
ensure safety during maintenance.
• DO NOT rely solely upon the hydraulics of your
machine to secure the broom during maintenance.
• ALWAYS be sure to keep hands and feet away
from designated pinch points.
• Never operate equipment when under the
might alter your judgment and/or reaction time.
• Always wear safety glasses with side shields
when working metal against metal. Failure to do
this could result in serious injury to the eyes or
other parts of the body.
• Never allow children to operate or climb on
equipment.
• Always check areas to be swept to be sure no
hazardous conditions or substances are in the
area.
• Always inspect unit for defects: broken, worn or
bent parts, weakened areas on broom or mount.
• Be sure vehicle/power source is properly braked
or chocked.
• Always make sure personnel are clear of areas of
danger when using equipment.
• Remember it is the owner's responsibility to
communicate information on safe usage and
proper maintenance of all equipment.
