Chapter 6 Maintenance & Recycling
In order to ensure the continuous normal operation and the environmental protection issues of
battery system, it is required to do maintenance regularly and recycling the old equipment.
6 . 1 Operating Environment
The installation and storage of the system should try best to avoid the high corrosive
environment, high dust environment, high temperature environment, and high humidity
environment, and particularly, avoid metal substances from falling into the box.

Security Examination
Please regularly check whether the connecting wires are aging and whether the cables
connection points are tight or not.

Maintenance Requirement
Before maintenance, please completely cut off the power and stop operating for 10min or
longer time until the power in capacitor is finished discharging. When disassembling, please be
careful not to damage the parts, components and pay attention to the wiring sequence.

Specific Requirements of Maintenance
It is required to clean the dust and debris in the cabinet, check whether the terminals and
screws are fastened, and check whether there are traces and damaged components left by
overheating in the box. If the power supply cannot work normally, please dispose it according to
the manual. If it still cannot be solved, please contact the dealer or the manufacturer as soon as
possible. Don't disassemble the parts by yourself!

Recycling
Please contact your local recycling center or hazardous waste disposal center for information on
the proper disposal of old equipment. Don't discard the battery into a fire to avoid the danger of
battery explosion. Please take reference of your local regulations for disposal requirements and
dispose the waste batteries properly. Don't disassemble the battery by yourself as the released
electrolyte of battery is harmful to your skin and eyes, and it may even have toxic. Please don't
discard the battery in trash. For more information, please contact your local resource
recovery/reuse center or hazardous waste disposal center. Don't discard the wasted electrical or
electronic equipment into trash. Please contact your local resource recovery/reuse processing
center for proper disposal;
