10.4 Setting a programme
The appliance selects the optimal type of heating, tem-
perature and cooking time. All you need to do is set
the weight.
Notes
¡ You can set the weight only in the intended range.
¡ After the programme starts, you can no longer
change the programme and the weight.
Use

11  Childproof lock
You can secure your appliance to prevent children
from accidentally switching it on or changing the set-
tings.
Note: You can go to the basic settings → Page 14 to
specify whether you want the option to set the child-
proof lock.
11.1 Activating and deactivating the
childproof lock
To deactivate the childproof lock, press and hold

for approx. 4 seconds.

12  Basic settings
You can configure the basic settings for your appliance to meet your needs.
12.1 Overview of the basic settings
Here you can find an overview of the basic settings and factory settings. The basic settings depend on the features
of your appliance.

The display shows the calculated cooking time.
You cannot change the cooking time.
On some programmes, you can delay the end
time using  ​ ⁠ .
a After a few seconds, the programme starts and the
cooking time counts down.
a If the programme has ended, an audible signal
sounds and the display shows the cooking time as
zero.
When the programme ends:

To stop the signal early, touch any touch field.
To set a cooking time for further cooking,
press  ​ ⁠ . The appliance will resume heating us-
ing the programme settings.
When the food is ready, switch off the appliance.
a The childproof lock is deactivated.
Notes
¡ If a time has been set on the timer  ​ ⁠ , this continues
to count down. While the childproof lock is activ-
ated, the timer cannot be changed.
¡ The childproof lock has no effect on the main
switch. Despite the childproof lock, you can still
switch off the oven. To do this, press the main
switch.
11.2 Locking the oven door
When the oven is switched off, the oven door locks im-
mediately if the childproof lock has been activated.
You can change the basic settings so that the oven
door also locks.
