Emergency Signaling Loudspeakers

8" Loudspeakers with Single Voice Coil
UHT
Series. High-quality 8" ceiling or wall-mount loudspeakers for use in fire protective signaling, emergency alarm
and audio evacuation systems are available with single voice coil, factory-mounted 5 watts multi-tapped transformer
and two baffle styles to accommodate varying code and aesthetic requirements.
single 1" diameter voice coil, choice of 70.7V or 25V transformer, and DC blocking capacitor. All units are shipped
pre-assembled to reduce installation labor, time and expense. Loudspeakers are equipped with a molded, fire-retar-
dant, moisture-proof cone with whizzer and 10 oz ceramic magnet to deliver smooth frequency response with high
intelligibility and minimal distortion. Transformer has a core size of
dB. All models terminate with 6" color-coded leads. UL Listed loudspeaker packages must be used with UL Listed
enclosures indicated to maintain UL Listed status. Listed under UL Standard 1480—Speakers for Fire Protective
Signaling Systems. As always, confirm specifications with local building codes.
