It has never been this easy to decorate your Christmas tree to create

the perfect atmosphere! You can clip on the "Candle Magic" Christ-

mas lights where ever you like – without having to struggle with a

tangle of cords in your hand or in the tree. The electrical candles are

mounted on the tree using the enclosed clips. You can activate and

deactivate them using a remote control and they create a pleasant,

warm light that imitates real candle light. The LED lights have a long

life cycle and you will also be able to enjoy them next Christmas

season as well.

❐ The item is designed for domestic use and is not intended for

commercial use. Only use the item as instructed. Any other use is

deemed improper.

❐ Please carefully read through the operating instructions prior to

using the device for the ﬁ rst time and store these instructions in

a safe place. The instructions are to accompany the product when

it is passed on to others. The manufacturer and importer assume

no liability in the event the data in these instructions has not been

observed!

Safety Instructions

❐ Keep children away from the packaging. There is, among other

things, a danger of suffocation!

❐ This device is not suitable for use by persons (including children)

with restricted sensory or intellectual abilities or with a lack of

experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a

person responsible for their safety or have received instructions

from that person as to how to use the device. Children must

be under supervision to ensure that they do not play with the

device.

❐ Swallowing batteries poses a risk of death. Therefore keep batter-

ies and the device out of the reach of young children. Should a

battery be swallowed seek medical help immediately.

❐ Before inserting the batteries check that the contacts in the de-

vice and on the batteries are clean and, if necessary, clean them.

❐ Use only the batteries speciﬁ ed in the technical data. Use high-

capacity alkaline batteries.

❐ Always replace all batteries at the same time. Do not mix differ-

ent types or brands of battery or batteries of varying capacities.

When changing batteries ensure correct polarity (+/-).

❐ Remove the batteries from the unit if they are used up or if you

are not using the unit for an extended period. This will prevent

damage which can be caused by leakage.

❐ If a battery has leaked, avoid contact of the battery acid with skin,

eyes and mucus membranes. In case of contact with battery acid,

rinse the affected area immediately with plenty of clear water and

seek a doctor at once. Take any leaking batteries out of the unit

immediately. Clean the contacts before inserting new batteries.

❐ The batteries should not be recharged or reactivated by any

other means, taken apart, thrown on a ﬁ re, immersed in liquid or

short-circuited.

Operating Instructions

❐ Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, severe

changes in temperatures, direct sunlight or moisture.

❐ Keep a sufﬁ cient distance from heat sources, e. g. hobs or ovens.

❐ Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong

percussions.

❐ Ensure that the unit does not fall in water or is at risk of getting

wet.

❐ Only use the product in enclosed areas.

❐ Never leave the "Candle Magic" unattended when activated!

❐ In the event the unit is defective, do not attempt to repair it

yourself. In the event of damage, contact the customer service

(see section "Customer Service").

❐ When activating and deactivating the "Candle Magic", only use

the enclosed remote control.

Warranty provisions

Defects caused by improper handling, damage or attempts at repair

by third parties are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to

normal wear and tear.

Start-up

1. Unpack the device and the accessories. Check that the product

contents are complete and that they do not exhibit any transport

damages. Should you identify any transport damages, do not use

the device (!), instead please promptly consult customer service

(see section "Customer Service"). Hold onto the packaging to

store the "Candle Magic" when not in use.

2. Insert the enclosed batteries in the

electrical candles. For this, take the

candle off of the clip and unscrew

the battery compartment on the bot-

tom end. Push a battery into the bat-

open

tery compartment with the positive

pole facing forward and then screw

the cover back into place.

3. Mount the candles on the clips.

4. Attach the clips to the branches on your Christmas tree as you

like.
