Operation

•

The ON button is used to switch on the candles.

You have two options here:

– If you press the ON button for just a short time, the candles

light up constantly.

– If you keep the ON button pressed for around 3 seconds,

the candles light up in ﬂ icker mode.

You can switch back and forth between constant light and ﬂ ick-

er mode at any time.

•

You can use the 4H button to switch the candles to 24-hour

mode:

– Use the ON button to switch the candles either to constant

light or ﬂ ickering.

– Then press the 4H button. The candles light up for 4 hours

and then switch off automatically.

– After another 20 hours, the candles automatically switch

back on again.

•

The OFF button is used to switch off the candles.

•

If individual candles cannot be switched on, switched

over or switched off directly, check the alignment of

the candles and the remote control: To ensure perfect

operation, it is important that there is 'visual contact'

between all candles and the remote control.

If necessary, you should therefore rearrange the can-

dles in the tree and / or choose a different location from

which you can control the candles with the remote con-

trol. Be aware of the range of the remote control. This

is around 5 m.

Then press the ON or OFF button again. Note the dif-

ferent length of time for which you need to press the

ON button, depending on what lighting mode you want

(see above).

If you subsequently buy more candles or sets of can-

dles, all candles can be controlled using just one re-

mote control.

You have purchased an article with high-performance light-emitting

diodes. The average lighting time of the candles varies when the

supplied batteries are used, depending on the light function which

is set (lit up constantly or ﬂ ickering) and the ambient temperature

(freezing temperatures), between approx. 150 and max. 170 hours.

Troubleshooting

Should your article stop working properly at any time, exhibit signs

of damage or require a spare part, please contact the customer

service department. For your own safety, do not attempt to car-

ry out repairs yourself.

If (individual) candles do not respond to the remote control,

check the following:

•

Are batteries inserted into the candles and the remote

control?

•

Are the batteries too weak or incorrectly inserted?

•

Are the candles located outside and is the tempera-

ture below -15°C? Temperatures that are constantly

excessively low / negative temperatures may result in

temporary malfunctions.

•

Are the candles within the range of the remote con-

trol? / Is there 'visual contact' between the candles and

the remote control?

•

To ensure perfect operation, it is important that there

is 'visual contact' between all candles and the remote

control.

•

If necessary, you should rearrange the candles in the

tree and / or choose a different location from which

you can control the candles with the remote control.

Then press the ON or OFF button again, depending on

whether you want to switch on, switch over or switch off

the candles. Note the different length of time for which

you need to press the ON button, depending on what

lighting mode you want (see the "Operation" chapter).

Disposal

The packaging material is recyclable. Please dispose of

it in an environmentally friendly manner and take it to a

recycling centre.

Dispose of the article in an environmentally friendly man-

ner. The article should not be disposed of in the normal

domestic waste. Please dispose of it at a recycling centre

for used electrical and electronic devices. You can obtain

more information from your local authorities.

The batteries should be removed prior to disposal of the

article and disposed of separately from the article. To pro-

tect the environment, non-rechargeable and rechargeable

batteries may not be disposed of with normal household

waste, but must be taken to suitable collection points. Also

note the relevant statutory regulations governing the dis-

posal of batteries.
