Take the batteries out of the articles when they are dead or if

the articles are not being used. This will prevent any damage

if a battery leaks.

■

The batteries must not be recharged or reactivated by other

means, dismantled, thrown into a ﬁ re, immersed in ﬂ uids, or

short-circuited.

■

Protect the articles from heat sources (e.g. grills), strong tem-

perature ﬂ uctuations, direct sunlight, impacts and persistent

moisture.

■

Keep the articles out of the reach of children and animals in a

dry place that is protected from direct sunlight.

■

Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for clean-

ing. These could damage the surface.

Items Supplied

3 x LED candle

1 x remote control incl. CR2025 lithium button cell (3 V)

3 x 1.5 V batteries of the AAA type are required per candle.

These are not supplied with the articles.

Putting into Operation

Candles

1. Unpack the items supplied and check them for completeness

and for possible transport damage. In the event of transport

damage, please contact the customer service department.

2. Remove any protective ﬁ lms and stickers.

3. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the candle:

turn the cover anticlockwise a little and take it off.

4. Insert three batteries (1.5 V, AAA type). Ensure the correct

polarity (+ / –).

5. Slide the switch next to the battery compartment to the ON

position to switch on the candle.

6. Put the cover back on and turn it clockwise to secure it in

place. When you do this, make sure that the locking lugs sit in

the recesses which are provided for them.

7. Open the cover again and slide the switch to the OFF position

to switch the candle off again.

If the performance of the candles diminishes, the batteries should

be replaced.

Remote Control

The battery is already inserted and provided with a transport se-

curing device when the article is supplied. Remove the protective

strip before you ﬁ rst use it.

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote con-

trol.

2. If necessary, remove the used battery and insert a new 3 V

lithium button cell (CR2025 type). Pay attention to the correct

polarity (+ / –).

3. Shut the battery compartment again.

The candles can be switched on and off using the remote control.

1. Press the ON button on the remote control to switch on the

candles.

2. Press the OFF button on the remote control to switch off the

candles.

Batteries should be removed prior to disposal of the device

and disposed of separately from the device at suitable col-

lection points.
